International Women’s Day – Balance for Better Around the World

With chapters all over the world, McCormick’s Women’s International Network (WIN) provides inclusive opportunities for women and men alike to engage in important discussions and professional development experiences. 

The vision of WIN is to create a global community of women at McCormick who inspire and support one another in realizing their aspirations.  WIN focuses on furthering the professional growth and achievement of McCormick’s female colleagues through three pillars: community, members and delivering business value.

What started with a single chapter, now includes regional WIN groups in China, France, Poland, South Africa, the United States and the United Kingdom. Each region tailors programming and experiential development to their members specific wants and needs.

In celebration of this year’s International Women’s Day, each regional chapter has planned events and initiatives centered on the theme international theme “Balance for Better.” International Women’s Day, which began in 1911, will take on this new theme this year to push for gender balance across industries worldwide. Each regional WIN chapter has built upon this theme in planning activities throughout the month of March. 

To build on International Women’s Day, all month we’ll spotlight each regional chapter to highlight its unique attributes and how its members are encouraging inclusive and productive dialogue about balance in the workplace.
