McCormick is proud to provide 100% of employees with access to health and wellbeing programs. Our comprehensive three-tiered approach begins with ensuring all employees have the necessary tools and resources to support their wellbeing. This approach fosters a culture that promotes proactive leader-led wellbeing behaviors. Ultimately, we aim to demonstrate the connection between employee wellness and business performance through measurable indicators. Global access to Employee Assistance Programs reinforces the foundation of this approach. The newly formed Employee Experience Committee will be instrumental in driving wellbeing programs, encouraging collaboration, and creating proactive wellbeing experiences that can reduce stress to enable both employees and the organization to thrive
Launched in 2021, McCormick’s global wellbeing program, Nour!sh, provides a variety of tools and resources and sponsors global initiatives that support the intrapersonal, physical, interpersonal and mental wellbeing of our employees. The program has global reach and is locally driven by an employee champion network with passionate and dedicated members spanning 17 countries from around the globe. In celebration of World Wellbeing Week in June, McCormick curated a special learning path on our internal Degreed platform, focusing on personal wellbeing and supporting the wellbeing of others within our McCormick community. The learning path offered a range of engaging content including ways to improve physical health, enhance mental and emotional resilience, build meaningful relationships and develop leadership skills with a focus on empathy and care. In October, the Nour!sh team organized Mindfulness Moments on World Mental Health Day, inviting all employees to take a 10-minute mindfulness pause. These expert-led sessions were designed to help reduce stress, alleviate anxiety, and provide a calming break.
As part of our comprehensive approach to benefits, McCormick has partnered with several external organizations to provide wellbeing-related services to our employees, such as financial counseling, caregiver support, and an online fitness platform. In 2022, we expanded these partnerships to successfully reach 100% Employee Assistance Program coverage for all McCormick employees around the world.
