As Assistant Import and Export Manager at McCormick China, Liu Xiaojian manages international trade matters in Shanghai and supports import and export operations in Wuhan.

Xiaojian finds the dynamic nature of supply chain work extremely rewarding. Throughout his career, he has had several opportunities to display his quick-thinking and resourcefulness. On a day-to-day basis, he is particularly busy managing cross-regional collaboration. Over the years, he has participated in multiple supply chain projects involving a variety of countries, which brought along with it differences in policy understanding, complexity of compliance determination, and uncertainty of overseas suppliers' delivery cycles. Despite these multi-dimensional challenges, Xiaojian remains calm and confident, demonstrating strong adaptability and a spirit of collaboration.

Behind every challenge lies an opportunity to learn and grow. Xiaojian says, “I'm fortunate to work in a team that trusts and supports each other. He can be found right in the thick of the events, eagerly capturing heartwarming moments with his lens. From cars to drones and books to movies, he enjoys a bit of everything in his free time. More than a pastime, these hobbies help him find balance outside of work, giving him a chance to observe and understand the world more keenly.
