Meet Chelsea Rosengarten, Who’s Passionate About Giving Back at Work and in Her Community 

Since joining McCormick in 2018, Chelsea has been a strong contributor to both our North America Consumer and Food Away From Home businesses. 

In her current role as Senior Strategic Business Manager for North America Food Away From Home, she’s a dedicated mentor and coach for her team as they focus on growing and strengthening customer relationships. Chelsea credits her own “amazing mentors and coaches” at McCormick for showing her the value of this personal support and guidance. 

“Learning and development is a critical motivator for me personally and McCormick excels in this area - whether it’s self-paced learning in McCormick University, engagement in industry conferences, programs like Global Ignite, or the focus on formal and informal mentoring. I feel strongly that my role is to simultaneously drive company growth and develop the next generation of leaders,” she said.

Even with two young children and a busy career, including the pursuit of her Master’s degree, Chelsea also finds time to give back to several causes in her local community. 

Chelsea serves on the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC)’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Maternal and Newborn Health Parent and Family Advisory Council to advocate for parents and families. She became an advocate after her son Luca spent over a month in the NICU. 

“Navigating Luca’s health journey after was one of the toughest times in our family's life,” Chelsea said. “Knowing that I can help other families during this challenging time makes it worthwhile to have gone through that experience.”

Chelsea fundraises for the GBMC NICU as well as organizations dedicated to curing pediatric cancer and suicide prevention. Another passion of Chelsea’s is animal welfare, and she volunteers and fundraises for local animal rescues and has rescued three dogs of her own over the past few years.
