Standing with Our Communities Around the World: McCormick's Response to COVID-19

McCormick has a long legacy of supporting the communities where we live, work, and source. During this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, it's more important than ever to do our part in helping to provide the critical needs of our communities.

As part of our global response to COVID-19, McCormick has committed $3 million to supporting food banks in nearly 20 countries where we operate, as well as local restaurants and hospitality workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic. We have also called upon the community and other organizations to join us in providing critical financial assistance. McCormick’s support for food banks continues following an initiative in 2019 which provided 1.3 million meals for our 130th anniversary milestone.

“Our global food bank partners are on the frontlines helping to provide much needed relief to communities around the world. The demand for food and nutritious meals is critical to helping the children and families impacted by this unprecedented pandemic. I’m hoping others will join us in donating to support these incredible organizations,” said Lori A. Robinson, Vice President Corporate Communications, Branding and Community Relations.

McCormick is also teaming up with COREcares in partnership with its OLD BAY and McCormick for Chefs businesses to establish the Maryland Restaurant Relief Fund, which will provide grants to local restaurant operators, as well as the Hospitality Cares Pandemic Response Fund in partnership with its Zatarain's and McCormick for Chefs brands to help support hospitality workers and restaurants in New Orleans.

Within the United States and Internationally, McCormick has also made multiple product donations to hospitals and those providing meals to healthcare workers. And several of our U.S. and international business units provided financial and product donations to help local healthcare workers and start up organizations producing much needed hand sanitizer.

We understand the enormous need that exists today as this pandemic continues to impact people around the world, and we are committed to doing our part. These efforts would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our 12,000 employees. We must all continue to stand together during these extraordinary times.

Join us in donating to these organizations and supporting communities in need. Together, we can emerge from this crisis stronger than before.
