McCormick is proud of our rich history of military service, dating back to former president C.P. McCormick’s Navy service in World War I. Our Veterans Employee Ambassador Group was established in 2014 as an opportunity to provide professional and personal development to Veterans at McCormick and their families. The group is open to all employees, regardless of prior military experience, and focuses their efforts on employee Veterans, transitioning Veterans, and helping Veterans in the community.
“The Veterans Employee Ambassador Group has allowed me to build upon my prior military service, using that experience in order to bring diverse and unique ways of working to the company," says Alex Gardner, End-to-End Planning Manager and Chair of the Veterans EAG. "It also keeps me connected to other Veterans, both at McCormick and in the community. I highly value that continued affiliation with the military.”
In honor of Veterans Day, together with McCormick Veterans Employee Ambassador Group, we celebrate all McCormick Veterans and their families with this video, which showcases employee Veterans and military members who are related to employees.
