The leaders of our company support a continuous learning environment because the growth of each employee will strengthen the business as a whole. It’s a cycle of learning that benefits us all.

A broad array of learning and development resources is available to every employee with flexible options for taking advantage of them. Employees can use training resources at their work locations. They can also use the Learning Centers at some McCormick locations, or McCormick’s Global Learning Network (GLN), a web-based learning management system. The GLN helps employees find learning and development resources, sign up for classes electronically, take courses online, track personal development history and eliminate related paperwork. The Global Training Team is a team of more than two-dozen professionals involved in workplace learning. These individuals are at facilities around the world positioned to serve as partners with the business to drive performance improvement and establish a teaching organization enabling continuous learning for all.


Complementing these opportunities is the well-established Multiple Management Board system. This unique leadership program has been in existence since 1932 helping employees learn about the business and themselves as they experience the essence of participative management. Working in a team structure, small employee groups develop and work on projects addressing real business issues facing the Company. The Company benefits from the employees’ informed input, and the employees grow professionally.


In addition to the many internal learning opportunities, McCormick also offers opportunities for tuition reimbursement for continuing education coursework.
